Do I have to help Jack and Joe with Dying Light 2?
After you reach the top of the water tower you will disarm the explosives. Joe and Jack then realize that someone has climbed into the room, and they close the window.
After they clock Aiden, they will threaten to blow up your tower. You have the option to negotiate or fight them. This choice is available regardless of how you got there – whether you’ve assisted Sophie or Aitor.
It is not a timed decision, which is why it doesn’t really matter. They can’t blow up your tower if you don’t say that you will fight. You can start negotiations in either case. This is when the crucial decision comes into play.
Now, you must decide whether to help Jack or Joe. If you refuse to help, they’ll both be killed. If you help, the water tower mission will be completed without major conflict.
